Fully vegan bakery and café in Kirkstall, Leeds, which grew out of the Chunk cookie business. Buns, cookies and cakes are baked on site each day and served with coffee from local Leeds roasters, with sourdough available at weekends. Vegan options feature on the counter – ask staff which items are fully plant-based on the day. It is particularly known for vegan cookies, buns, cakes and speciality coffee.
CHUNK is open 6 days a week, closing on Monday. The earliest you can drop in is 9am. It also opens on Sundays, which is not a given for UK bakeries. Food hygiene officers from Leeds rated it 5 – Very good when they inspected on 30 October 2024.
